Our Process

1 - Orientation and Design

You give us a call or send us and email and we will set up an Orientation meeting. This can take place at your home or our office. In this meeting we will review the project goals and overall design theme. If you have your plan that is great. Or we are happy to bring a designer or architect on board after the Orientation meeting. If a Designer/Architect is needed, we are happy to stay involved to make sure all the design elements are coordinated and communicated. Design can take several weeks to several months depending on complexity and adjustments.

2 - Pricing, Selections and Specifications

Once we get a set of plans together we can truly start the Pricing phase. We will provide you with a list of Preferred Vendors where you can go to specific showrooms around town and decide what specific Selections you want in your home. We are happy to provide lessons learned and best practices with you along the way. We will tie in the Specifications, which is a document used along with the Plans to "build your home on paper".

3 - Value Engineering

After we present our Proposal to you there may a need for changes and adjustments. We take this time to make those adjustments, which may increase or decrease the Proposal.

4 - Contract

We both sign off on the drawings, specifications and contract and head to the permit office! Let's go!

5 - Construction

Our Construction Management team will work with you each step of the way to ensure a successful project. You will be assigned a Project Manager who will work closely with Jake, our Construction Manager. Upon contract, you will receive a Selection Calendar if you haven't made all your allowance based selections. Jeane, our Selections Coordinator will make sure you stay on track and answer any questions. We will also have periodic walk-throughs with you to review to make sure we are all on the same page. Usually these are done after framing, prior to electrical rough ins, trim and a final owner acceptance walk through just before completion, which will orient you with the new components of your home. We will also discuss the future maintenance needs of your project.

6 - Warranty

We will conduct a 45 day and 11 month walk through with you to review your project. And you can simply visit our website for warranty requests.
