I am writing to thank you for your and Jake's outstanding work on the construction of our new home in Ox Bottom Manor. Having built before, and not without mishap and pain, we approached building again with trepidation. In all respects, Myddelton Parker made our experience comfortable, professional and satisfying.

Having involved you and Jake in the planning stage we were very pleased at the suggestions and input which you provided resulting in a home plan that was both more user and builder friendly. We felt good about our choice then but became certain during construction. Although custom construction is tiring and filled with seemingly never ending choices, your superintendent Mat was responsive, patient, punctual and thorough. In retrospect, we really do no think the process could have been handled better.

We have occupied our new home for a few months now and truly appreciate the follow through that Myddelton Parker continues to show in wrapping up the punch list items efficiently and in continuing warranty support as needed

As I mentioned at closing we intend to build a vacation/retirement home near Asheville in a few years, so start working on your North Carolina licensure soon!

Myddelton Parker Builders completed construction of our home in February '07. It was the first home that my wife and I had built and we could not be more pleased as to how the project turned out. John and Jake were very patient and thorough throughout the planning process, pricing out different options as my wife and I spent months trying to fit vision into budget. Once construction began they were extremely accessible and timely in their updates. We were very pleased with all the subcontractors and found their work to be of high quality. After construction, both John and Jake were diligent in their follow up and our satisfaction seemed to be of the highest priority.

Going into the project, having never before been a part of the home construction process, having heard the nightmare stories about construction gone badly, we had some trepidation. But I can honestly say that we actually enjoyed the project. Our home can in on budget , on time, and I call John and Jake friends to this day. How many people can say that about their builder?
